I want to share something interesting, and about the prevailing view in the Arab world today that the release of Israel’s longest-serving prime minister will have no effect, especially since Benjamin Netanyahu has been replaced by another enemy of harmony, the Conservatives. Radical. While this thinking may be true for the most part, it ignores the significant changes that will occur as a result of Netanyahu’s release.

In stark contrast to the last Netanyahu government, which was the Guardian for a long time, the new government is an alliance that needs continued help from all its allies, including the Arab Raam party, led by Mansour Abbas. The facts confirm that an understanding of alliances overrides all hot situations, but the ways in which each individual in an alliance can reduce the power of the public when it means no significant decisions have been made.
