Iran opens drone production line in Tajikistan

Iran yesterday introduced a plant in Tajikistan to fabricate military robots.

The kickoff of the plant to fabricate Ababil-2 robots was gone to by the Iranian Chief of Staff, Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, and the Tajik Defense Minister, Sherali Mirzo, in the capital city of Dushanbe.

Bagheri said in a proclamation that the opening was essential for his nation’s “plans to grow military and guard participation between the two Persian countries.”

“Today, we’ve arrived at a place that separated from satisfying the homegrown requirements, we can trade military gear to our partners, reinforce security and manageable harmony,” Bagheri said.

The Tehran Times announced that the Ababil-2 robot is fit for doing assaults as well as reconnaissance missions from a scope of 200 kilometers with an hour and a half flight time.

Relations between Iran and Tajikistan have fortified as of late, particularly after the visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in September 2021.

During his visit, Raisi swore to further develop ties in numerous regions including the tactical field.
