Israeli occupation specialists have endorsed plans for the development of many new pilgrim units on Palestinian land in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Wafa news organization detailed.

The Director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission office in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijieh, said the development of 560 new settlement units in Mtsad settlement, assembled illicitly on Palestinian land in the towns of Kisan and Al-Rashaydeh, found southeast of Bethlehem, was supported yesterday.

The choice comes days after occupation specialists supported structure 90 new settlement units in Ebi Hanahal, constructed illicitly on Kisan townland, noted Hassan.

Bethlehem’s urban areas, towns, and neighborhoods have been liable to expanding Israeli robbery of land for extending unlawful Israeli settlements.

Hassan added that Israel is focusing on Bethlehem with plans to grow its illicit settlements, banning landowners and locals from getting to their territories. The speed increase of settlement development, he added, is unmistakably pointed toward assuming responsibility for the southern-eastern region to support connecting settlements together.

Israel involved the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in 1967.

The involved domains have been reserved by the worldwide local area for a future Palestinian state. The Israelis, in the interim, have been constructing and extending illicit settlements on the land for quite a long time. With Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reporting a year ago’s arrangements to add-on enormous wraps of the West Bank. He later said the action had been delayed.

As of now, in excess of 450,000 Israelis live in settlements in the region, barring involved East Jerusalem, home to more than 2.8 million Palestinians.
