Jordan to trade power to Lebanon from the following month

Jordan is to begin trading power to Lebanon from the following month, Minister of Energy Saleh Al-Kharabsheh has declared. A financing concurrence with the World Bank has been settled, he clarified during the Egypt Petroleum Conference in Cairo.

Lebanon consented to two arrangements on 28 January to import power from Jordan through Syria with an end goal to reduce the country’s energy emergency.
